We are visiting on holiday and need an enclosed field to allow our rather prey driven spaniel types to have some off lead time. They are very picky about the fields they like and they absolutely love this one! Clean and well kept. Easy to find and lots of interest in the field as well. They liked it so much, we rebooked for another 3 sessions 🙂 Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Nice field with some fun apparatus and things to explore.
Casper likes the tunnel. Great to have some things that older dogs can do without having to jump.
Great to have a poo bin supplied as many dog fields do not have this facility.
Easy to find!

Definitely not really suitable for reactive dogs! I have a dog reactive greyhound and a dog could be easily seen coming down the road and then let off lead in the field opposite. Luckily he wasn't too fussed but it could have been very stressful for both of them. I also saw a sign on arrival regarding horses and to deter dogs from barking at them. Whilst this is understandable, if you have a reactive dog and that's why you've brought them to a private field, that is going to be potentially difficult and stressful for dog, horse(s) and rider(s). I also felt the fencing wasn't as high as others I have been to and, if so inclined, my dog could probably get over them. There was also no water on our visit. This is a good, cheap option if you just want space or equipment but not a good option for reactive dogs.

My puppy had a lovely time for her first time off lead. We felt safe and secure knowing she couldn't go far. Lots to sniff and explore and space to run around. We'll be back soon. Update; 3rd visit today and a wet and mucky day...there's a lovely muddy splashy puddle for doggies who like a mucky time.

Coming here has been great for our recently rehomed terrier. He has very strong prey drive, so until we get him good with recall this allows him to have a good, safe run off lead. He loves it and is worn out afterwards!

Hired out Exeter dog field for the first time and our 5 month old cockapoo loved having a good run around in the secure field. There is different sections in the field to keep dogs entertained, like a digging area. Will be booking again and highly recommend.

All three of our dogs had an amazing time at Exeter dog field! It is incredibly secure. I was concerned about our rescue as she is an escape artist but she didn’t even attempt to climb the fences. Absolutely perfect for letting the dogs burn off all that energy!

Lovely dog field for our Pug X and foster pugs. They loved the safe space to run around in, and super close to home for us! Fab communication when we had to rearrange the date due to storm Darragh. If your dog is sensitive to cars, there may be some passing by in the lane next to the field. My dog barked a few times at this, but wouldn't stop us returning! Thanks so much!

Great time , 30 minutes for our 4 month old pup, He absolutely loved the free Run, practised recall , Played fetch etc.We don't have a big garden so this field is perfect for us
There is a picnic bench with shelter , very convenient in bad weather
We were very impressed with the change over rules, much appreciated .

We took our two dogs and our daughter’s toy terrier whom is very small. We were really pleased, it was safe and secure and very clean and tidy. Lots of Dog poo bags very helpful if you run out or forget yours. Fresh water for the dogs and a nice seating area.
Defiantly a five star! Booking more slots in the future. Wish I found this place sooner! 👌🏻😃

A truly fantastic place - having two very reactive dogs it’s difficult to take them out, and impossible to let them off lead, so to see them running around free today was wonderful! They loved the tyres and digging area too. They had a great time and we’ll be back next week!!

This was the first time we used this field and we will be back.
It's easy to find, good access, nice size carpark, nicely priced and the codes were easy to use.

Great secure field, with digging patch, tunnels etc. especially liked the airlock system for entry which made field extra secure. Poo bags nice touch as well.
Our dog, with our sons two dogs had a great time. Will be using again, and would recommend to anyone who would like their dog to run without the worry.

Great space, loads of space and things for the dogs to do. Dog bags on site, running water. Only issue is waiting outside before you turn, other than that 30 minutes was over before you realise.

This is a great dog field for our two labradors, one of which is very young - 18 months and she is a rescue so has a few issues. We feel that the dogs are perfectly safe and the field is plenty big enough for them to have a good gallop about.
The owners keep the grass well cut down and they are also very quick to reply if you have a query. Very good value too. Definitely recommend

This is a fabulous field. We have 2 labs, our younger one is a bit feral and is never let off the long lead on public footpaths. So this was so exciting for her. She even attempted the agility bits already set up. The field must be reasonably good for drainage as well,even after all the rain wad quite dry.
Jess is a very thoughtful lady, she offered to move our visit due to Amber weather warning. We appreciated her offer and took her up and re booked for Monday. We did visit today, once again Freddie and Freya loved it. Freddie is 10 years young and is the only field he will have a good gallop. Thankyou Jess.

Fantastic field which was exactly what I hoped for! Lots to occupy my lab and great to be able to sit with a flask when it rained on the picnic bench under the shelter. Will definitely book again!

Super facility and so easy to book. Our staffy loves it here and even though it had been raining heavily the field was still in great condition and not muddy. Facilities are great and our access code arrives ahead of the booked time. This field is so convenient and provides a vital service for our reactive hound 🐕

It was our first visit today. Clear and timely communication from the company. They sent the directions and the codes for the locks et cetera directly to my phone just before we were going which was very handy. The field itself was good and well kept. there was a nice bench which had a roof cover over it for us to sit at, water for the dog and some spare poo bags if you forgot your own.

Hi have very recently taken on a rescue dog who doesn't know his name because he wasn't chipped. So having a safe secure place to let him off lead was so relaxing and because you can see your dog at all times gives peace of mind. Both my dogs loved it I just wish places like this were about when I had my husky .
I intend to rebook and do recall training in this lovely field

A lovely big field in beautiful countryside with easy access of Exeter for our 2 dogs to run around in , lots of things for them to explore . Outside shelter with a bench for you to sit down and relax , Outside tap with fresh water for the dogs and a bowl provided as well.
Would highly recommend for any dog owners and it would make a great place to meet with friends with dogs .

Excellent dog field with clear instructions and easy to follow layout with regards to entry/exit. Loved the clear instructions regarding time frame for each user so there was no anxiety about asking previous user to leave on time.We really enjoyed the tyres, tunnel and digging pile! The website was very easy to use and make a booking. Arrival text was prompt and had plenty of info. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely brilliant area for walking my mums dogs who don't socialise well with others. Very secure field with water for dogs. Loads of booking slots to choose from. Made a last minute booking for 30 mins later and was text the padlock code almost immediately, so efficient! I've used twice now and will definitely be using on a regular basis. Highly recommend.

We love booking this field for our dogs. It’s a lovely safe environment to walk and play with our dogs. We have recently got a new rescue dog who is great with the others but a little nervous and her recall is intermittent so using the field allows to build her confidence and work on her recall. Fence is well built and attention to detail, field is a field, if your expecting no mud in an English field then do you even drink tea! Sheltered area with water, toys, pooh bags etc. Great place to take your dog with no stress of escaping our other dogs. We are now regulars 😁😜

Excellent size field with some agility features and a great digging area. Mine and my daughter’s dogs, a lurcher and a labradoodle had a great time there was a frisbee and some throwing sticks plus water and a bin. Where your wellies as bottom of field (entrance) is very wet, as it would be in this weather. Brilliant hour of training dogs and allowing them to run free. Thank you.

Will not be returning here anytime soon. I let my dogs out of the boot and they procided to jump into the field next door. The car park isn't secure enough take notes from walkies at Rockbeare. Lots of silly rules on boards and loads of dog poo on the ground.

Easy to book good sized field very secure for me to be able to let my greyhound off lead wellies are needed when it’s wet but that’s normal nice shelter for really bad weather will definitely be booking again

We loved our visit to Exeter Dog Field! My dog has good recall until his prey drive kicks in, and then he forgets I exist. I can’t trust him off lead because of this, but EDF gives him a safe space to play and explore off-lead!

I am a bit of a helicopter dog parent so I worry about there being holes for my dog to escape, but we walked around the perimeter of the field and were satisfied it was truly “secure”.

There are weaving poles, tyres and a ‘digging space’ already and we hope more features will be added over time - maybe a small pond for water-loving dogs?!

Tennis balls and drinking bowls were also available for our use (much appreciated). There is a small shelter which was useful as our visit was a very rainy one.

We’re looking forward to coming back again soon.

The grounds there are great for anyone that has dogs that need to run around but also able to train your dog but most off all I did not have any fear off my dog getting out and knowing he would safe to run around and not be interrupted by other dogs or people

Entry to the field is extremely wet, boggy and muddy. The chippings put down some time ago need to be increased about 4-5 times in volume, depth and reach.

We have been using the Exeter dog field for just over a month now and it's been perfect.
The dogs can have a run whilst being safe and we can relax without worrying about other dogs.

Just booked exeter dog field. The first time for a dog field for us. It was a really easy process from booking to using the field. We were unsure how good our new rescue dog was at recall so wanted to see in a secure field. Thankfully he was very good. However the ease of use will mean we will book again. The field was a bit muddy however with the rain we have had it was no surprise and we were expecting it. Overall very impressed.

Really good resource for puppy training in a controlled environment and really easy to book. At this wet time of year, the entrance to the field is extremely boggy despite the rest of the field being in good condition- wellies and towels (for filthy dog!) needed until there is some drainage/hardcore at this location.

First rate well organised and looked after. We have plenty of walks locally but one dog who really loves to run free. Even though she’s gentle she is boisterous and it’s not good to let off in a public place. A well fenced field without other dogs is the answer and both our dogs enjoyed this place.

Such a beautiful open space so you can keep an eye on them no matter where they are.
Nice covered picnic bench too, ideal for a coffee while watching the pooches play.
Despite the amount of rain we've had locally, the field wasn't boggy at all, apart from paws the dogs stayed pretty clean!

We use this field regularly and would recommend! Great dog field easy to book and get to - good parking and easy access using a padlock code.Very safe. Nice having balls and a thrower available to use. Only downside is not having a dog poo bin or shower .

this is our 2nd time now and I will say it again.

Every dog owner should be using this place for their furry family member to burn off some energy and to have lots of fun.

Our 2 year old Belgian Malinois loved to climb the tyres. Picture added.

Great enclosed area for dogs to run mad. Safe and secure, if there was a way out my dogs would definitely have found it.
Reasonable price and well worth it, can’t recommend enough!!

Much needed facility for Exeter area. Great idea for my girl who is in season, no need to worry about other dogs here. I can let her off the lead here for a good run too. The owner is very responsive and any problems are quickly dealt with. Play equipment a bit sparse as yet but looking forward to more being added at some point, -e.g. tunnels,more things to climb, even a paddling pool for the summer?

Our puppy had a really fun half hour in the dog field. Her first time off the lead, except in our garden, and she was zooming around having the best time with my two kids. It was easy to book, easy to find and really safe. We will definitely be booking again - thank you!

Fantastic safe space for our very anxious 11 month old puppy.
He wore himself out, finding all the balls in the field and digging.
Already looking to book again, hopefully this will be a weekly outing for us.

A great open space with things to do. The dogs really enjoyed themselves, climbing and running, retrieving and playing. Will be booking again for sure!

Nice big enclosed field. Tyres to jump on, agility poles and an area for digging. Water provided in big bottles was a great touch on a warm day. There's also a small field shelter.

Easy to book and locate - gotta love 'What Three Words'! Our two young Goldies ran free, safely and made the most of the Tyre Challenge and Diggy Doggy area. Excellent facility to run off energy before visiting relatives in the area.

This place is amazing to take your doggies for an hour! Especially if your anxious taking your dog off the lead due to running off/other dogs etc. we are dog sitting for two weeks and Archie the dog is used to being off the lead with his owners but as we wasn’t too comfortable taking him off we took him here and he had the BEST time. Safe and secure. Water and doggie bags there too. Will be back again for sure.

Brilliant dog field ! Great secure location, easy to find with a designated digging area that my girl loved almost as much as the tyre tower.
Tennis balls and throwers were provided as well as drinking water and a shady spot to sit.

Very much enjoyed our time here and will definitely return again.

10/10 would recommend! So easy to get to, great communication with so much space to run/train! I take the boys every week to work on training and they enjoy it so much! Always so clean as well! Always so accommodating too! Our favourite field by far 🙌🏼

Lovely secure field for dogs. Convenient for our home near Exeter. My dogs can safely run amok without having to worry about other peoples dogs & children disturbing them or vice versa! Happy times for all.

Great facility, big enough for the dogs to run and have fun, but all areas of the field visible from any part of the field, so no need to run with them, except for picking up after them! nice area to stay dry in if it is raining. Will be using again as I have dogs whose recall is a little suspect and one who can be dog reactive.
Also approved of by two of my dogs, plenty of running and sniffing to be done! I will bring the others along another day.

We visited Exeter dog field yesterday and I have to say my dogs really enjoyed, it so much room for them to run! It is a very easy booking system and only 8 minutes drive from home so absolutely perfect for us. We look forward to returning very soon.

Just on the outskirts of Exeter, a fun filled place for my reactive dog to run and be free! A great digging area for the dogs and plenty to sniff and explore. Ample room for parking and prices very competitive against other dog fields. Looking forward to coming again. Lovely to have a stress free walk

Had a lovely 2 sessions at the Exeter Dog Field, having run my own dog field field and now being a dog walker I know what to expect and the gates are brilliant, communication was brilliant I have lived in the area all my life and the sat nav didn’t take me all the way, half a mile away but I called one of the numbers provided with the text, the call was answered quickly and easy directions given. Enough space to keep all dogs entertained and in my first session I had 6 dogs one is a rescue and an escape artist and on my second session I had 4 dogs with one dog who chases vehicles and one reactive dog. I felt at ease knowing they couldn’t get out, amazing fencing I believe it’s 5ft. Great shelter to keep dry as I started drizzling. Will be back soon. Thank you

So pleased this field has opened up near us. It's set in a lovely quiet field between Clyst St Mary and Clyst Honiton and is easy to park at. Our dog loved running around and we were happy too knowing that she was safe.
